Dreaming about teaching Floral Design in your own school? Or struggling with the preparation of your lessons? Or are you not satisfied with the results of your lessons? Or do you want to make a difference in teaching Floral Design?

EFDA is training people to become a professional Floral Design teacher. In the seminars combined with individual coaching you will learn how to prepare your lessons, practice in giving an interesting instruction demonstration, discuss how to make your own Floral Design teaching program and work on making good quality DFA1 flower arrangements.

This EFDA DFA Instructor course is successfully executed in Hong Kong, Taiwan, China, Korea and Japan. Every day more than 200 certified DFA Instructors are successfully teaching their students all kind of technical and design aspects of professional Dutch Floral Design.

EFDA developed this DFA Instructor course. The course is based upon several elements of the Bachelor level Teacher Training program which is executed by Aeres University in the Netherlands for more than 30 years.

In the DFA Instructor course we will not only focus on didactical skills but also on the Floral Design industry in the Netherlands. In this DFA2 program you will study art history, the production process of ceramics, glass, ribbons and candles, the lay-out of a flower shop, treatment of cutflowers and potplants and the Latin names of the most used flower materials. This background information gives you a chance to make your Floral Design lesson even more interesting.

When you possess the DFA1 diploma you are welcome to subscribe for the DFA2 and EFDA DFA Instructor course. Those who already passed the DFA2 examination only need to subscribe for the EFDA DFA Instructor course.

So, if you are looking for a chance to develop your own Professional knowledge, upgrade your teaching skills or if you are interested in becoming an official Dutch Floral Design license school, EFDA offers you a great opportunity!
